Ron Kirby

One of the most respected and experienced golf course architects in the world.

Among others Ron Kirby is well known for his design of Gleneagles (Ryder Cup 2014), Sun City, Paris International, Mount Juliet in Kilkenny and The Old Head near Kinsale.

In the mid-60s Ron Kirby was employed by Robert Trent Jones Inc., designing courses in the United States and England. Ron Kirby joined Jack Nicklaus Golf Design Services in 1986 and was responsible for most European projects.
